Review : Skinz UV White

On 26th December, I went to Ipoh with my aunt and cousins, and I wanted to buy a Hada Labo skincare set. When I inquired about Hada Labo, the Cantonese promoter introduced Skinz UV White to me instead, claiming that it is better suited for Asian skin as it is formulated in Japan and made in Malaysia. When I asked which product was better, she indirectly told me that Skinz is better, so I ended up buying the Skinz UV White set, which includes a Purifying Facial Foam, a Clarifying Toner and an Intensive Night Moisturiser.

Review

I've been using these products for 5 days, and though there aren't any visible results yet, but overall I'm satisfied with the products. The SKINZ UV White Purifying Facial Foam's cleansing properties are strong and the oil on the surface of my skin is removed completely. This comes with a disadvantage, though: it cleanses too well and dries up my skin.

The SKINZ UV White Clarifying Toner is a transparent liquid which has a cool feeling to it. According to the description, this product contains Aloe Vera and Licorice active which restores your skin’s optimum pH balance for a hydrated, fresh sensation. And true to its words, it really gives me a fresh feel after applying a small amount on my skin.

My favourite product in this set would be the SKINZ UV White Intensive Night Moisturiser. This product has a smooth texture and does not leave any oily residue as most moisturisers. Instead, it is absorbed by the skin almost instantly, leaving my skin soft to the touch.

I'll be using this skincare range for a longer period of time and observe its function. Let's see if my skin becomes radiant and glowing in 2 weeks time, as mentioned in the website!
